DLH Publisher Privacy and Data Deletion

DLH Publisher is an internal application operated by DLH Western LLC to publish product posts to DLH Western’s own Instagram account.

Information used

The application reads Shopify product details, photographs, inventory, and recent order information needed to calculate product sales. Its current queries do not request customer names, email addresses, shipping addresses, or payment details.

Through Meta’s official API, it uses authorization tokens and account identifiers, reads our Instagram post identifiers, captions, publication times, and links, and publishes product carousels. Reading existing posts helps prevent repeated product posts.

Storage and sharing

Authorization credentials and posting records are stored on computers controlled by DLH Western. Posting records include product identifiers, captions, publication times, and post identifiers. Access is restricted to authorized operators.

Selected product photographs and captions are sent to Meta for publication. Operational errors may be sent to DLH Western’s alert email through Gmail. The publisher does not send customer order details to Instagram.

Posting records are retained while needed to operate the publisher and prevent duplicate posts.

Disconnecting and requesting deletion

To request deletion of information held by DLH Publisher, email support@dlhwestern.com with the subject “DLH Publisher Data Deletion.” Identify the relevant Facebook Page or Instagram account. Do not send passwords or access tokens.

After verifying the requester’s authority, DLH Western will stop the relevant connection and remove its stored credentials and app records, including associated copies under our control, unless retention is legally required. We will confirm when the request is completed.

Posts already published on Instagram are managed separately through the Instagram account.
